Life of a Marine Commando in Indian Navy - Commodore Vijaypal Singh Rawat, VSM (Retd)

Commodore Vijaypal Singh Rawat is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy. He specialized as a Mine Clearance Diving Officer with the First position in the merit in December 1988 and in 1992 he joined Elite Marine Commando Force with the First position again in the order of Merit.

He retired as the Principal Director Special Operation & Diving in November 2020 and his contribution to the Indian Navy has been recognized from time to time and he has been awarded as the:
Chief of Naval Staff Commendation - 1994 Commander-in- Chief Commendation -2006
Vishisht Seva Medal - 2017
