Cable stakes, or earth anchors, are a great way to anchor your traps. They are light weight, some are disposable, others reusable, can be attached to your traps beforehand, its my preferred method for staking my traps. But there are some things that can get hung up or slow you down, especially as you get some wear on your stakes, and more specifically your driver. With drivers that are inserted into the stake, watch for mushrooming on the end that can cause the driver to get hung in the stake.
