Sustainable food production in Pohjois-Savo emphasizes transparency in production chain and healthy products that please the consumers’ taste. Milk and berry productions are great examples of value chains where digitalization plays a major role. In this video we present nutrition research that has been developed for generations, modern cultivation technologies and animal wellbeing solutions. Also product development services for food industry is highlighted.

The main objective of the project is to develop regional operating models and structures to support, in particular, the participation of companies, educational and research institutions in national and international networks, focusing on the key areas of smart specialization in Pohjois-Savo.
