Today I am discussing the question of Reverse Aging, whether reverse aging is possible or not and whether increase in human lifespan is possible? Also discussing reverse aging and Anti-Aging research done at Harvard University and 7 best anti-aging foods. Research by the Professor David Sinclair who is a Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School and Co-Director at Center for Biology of Aging Research. This research is anti-ageing because it aims at reverse aging and making people young again. This reverse aging research involves processes of DNA damage and repair. According to him aging occurs due to changes in the epigenome during the process of DNA damage and repair. They have demonstrated it through a mouse model in which two mice from same litter are kept differently. In one they introduced epigenome changes at a fast pace, and it aged very fast in a few weeks while the other one remained young. They also started experimenting to rejuvenate the age of cells or in simple terms to reverse their age, reverse aging in epigenome and the whole animal and humans. They restored vision in a blind mouse by using three out of four Yamanaka Factors successfully. In 2025 they may repeat the experiment on human volunteers, Glaucoma patients, who are permanently blind. Sinclair lab also discovered a cocktail of six chemicals that reverse aging in cells in lab and in James Altucher's Podcast David Sinclair revealed that their reverse aging research has gone a step further and they have narrowed it down to one chemical.
At the end I have described importance of Anti-Aging Superfoods and of taking foods rich in NMN which could boost NAD+ levels in the body which is essential for longevity. Though Prof. David Sinclair takes NMN supplement but I have not recommended taking NMN supplement without the permission of your own doctor. Explained in Urdu / Hindi with English Subtitles.
