In the previous video, you learned how to set up a Meta Business Manager Correctly. In this video, we're tackling the next big challenge: creating and connecting a Pixel or Dataset to your ad account. Let's dive in!

But first, what exactly is a Pixel, and why is it essential?

💡A Facebook Pixel is a tiny snippet of code that you embed on your website to track visitor actions and gather valuable data for your ad campaigns. Recently, Pixels have evolved into Datasets, offering similar functionality.

Here's how to create a Pixel:

1. Open your browser, log in to your Facebook profile, and navigate to business.facebook.com/settings.
2. Ensure you have a Facebook Business Manager account set up. If not, check out our previous video for a quick guide.
3. In your Business Manager settings, head to Data Sources, then Datasets, and hit Add.
4. Name your Dataset and click Continue. You can close the pop-up for now, as setting up the Dataset on your website is covered in our next video.

Next up, connecting your ad account to the Dataset:

1. Navigate to Connect Assets and select Ad Accounts.
2. Choose your ad account from the list.

Voila! Your ad account is now linked to the Dataset, bringing you one step closer to data-driven advertising success.
