This is how my fusion run ended, of course, with me deliberately topping out. After all, a single attempt of a 100 win run can take upwards of 2 hours. This run was personally quite easy for me, but depending on your skill level with this game mode, it can be difficult. Of course, if you play fusion professionally, it’s a piece of cake. For me, it’s easy because I’m used to the mechanics.
I still do think Party is easier.
As for the other modes:
-Big Bang is way too easy, but also a huge time sink. A 50-win attempt can take anywhere from an hour and 15 minutes to 2 hours depending on your speed or if you trip up, puyo or Tetris. The real challenge is not losing your mind.
-Swap is pretty hard, and it’s upsetting because my best score is 99, and I hardly tried on the Puyo side of things. And wouldn’t you know it, I died to possessed klug, and it wasn’t even due to damage, I just got greedy.
-Versus, puyo is the better of the two options, but even then is a tricky endurance test. But with how they nerfed Tetris endless, the side 4-wide strategy, and even the center 4-wide strategy is hard to navigate. That means you’ll have to rely on fast B2Bs, which is equivalent to hell.
I’ve also been working on doing a 100 win run in Puyo Puyo Champions, both Tsu and Fever, and have even done attempts in Puyo Puyo Tetris (1) for party and swap mainly.
Wish me luck, and hopefully I don’t lose my sanity.
