It's no secret that I love me my fake nails. That's how I can change shapes from one nail art look to the next, and it's how I paint nail art on my dominant hand and make it look just as good (have you seen that video???). And, while I am not the first to write an article or make a video claiming to show you all of the secrets to make those suckers look real and last a long time, I have years of my own research, trial and error, and personal experience that informs every tip I'm going to share here today. Here's how I get two or more weeks of wear out of a single set of these cheap glue-on/press-on nails, all the while surprising friends and strangers when I tell them that they are fakes that I glued on myself.
