CZ 457 LRP Ammo Best Bang for the Buck! Lapua and Sk ammo comparison high to low!
My rifle has a few after market parts on it. The list of parts I added are a 22" Internation Barrels Inc. Olympic contour 1:16 right twist barrel, a Timney flat blade trigger (TT-CZ457-SB), a custom Arca Swiss rail and diy bipod mount. The bipod I use is a bipod factory carbon 6-9" swivel model. the optic used is a Vortex Razor HD Gen I 5-20 x 50 Mil/Mil with Vortex Precision rings and bubble level. Apart from this the action hasn't been touched as well as the stock.
Although this rifle shoots very well in my opinion for the price, I want to find an ammo that is good and consistent that also doesn't break the bank in the process. we know lapua X-act was not a match (thank god) in my rifle but Center-X seems to do fairly well. the price of centre x is a bit more than id like to pay for plinking ammo. there are definite less expensive alternatives out there and I have a feeling I already know what the winner will be!
