Sierra Harris the young 'American idol' contestant is from Lexington and has five sisters, who are all performers in their own right. Sierra belongs to family of musicians and has been on stage for more than half of her life. Her mother, Lynne, reportedly revealed that Sierra could hit high notes naturally and always had great potential. She bagged her first major role in a summer talent show in Point Sebago, Maine, by accident. She was first rejected for the role of Annie but later got the role as the girl selected to play the role got stage fright. She is a former ice hockey player and has always loved to showcase her talent in front of hundreds of people.
For several years, Sierra continued to appear in every summer theatre production in Point Sebago, frequently with her sisters and, on a few occasions, with her mother and then her father. She has also received the honor to sing the National Anthem at her school games. Interestingly, this is not the first time Sierra has tried out for 'American idol'. She first auditioned for the show when she was 15 and has been trying to get a golden ticket every year since 2018. Sierra has been quite active on Social Media and finally, a casting agent recognized her raw talent and she got the opportunity to perform in front of the judges.
