Seasonal changes get me in the mood to improve my space and switch up habits or my schedule. I'm trying to be more active while I work and the new taboret (workbench) has been helpful with that. Plus organizing art supplies into the new drawers was a blast. and it's got me itching to pull out other mediums in the weeks to come.
Otherwise I've been digging into my current painting, working on the block in phase and initial layers. I get a lot of work done in short focused bursts, making time for other responsibilities and of course some staring out the window time.
It can be hard to get all the chores, fun things and art done when a lot is happening but having your space set up in a functional way and with something on the easle at all times to jump into is a game changer for productive studio work.
