D for - Devil's Food Cake💁🏻♂️, Decadent and beautifully moist, this chocolate cake is what dreams are made of🤌🏻❤️What should I make for the letter E?
Ingredients:
🍫1 cup milk
🍫2 tsp vinegar
🍫1/2 tbsp coffee
🍫1 cup sugar
🍫1/2 cup oil
🍫1 cup all purpose flour
🍫1/2 cup cocoa powder
🍫1 tsp baking powder
🍫1 tsp baking soda
For the chocolate buttercream
🍫3/4 cup butter, softened (168g)
🍫1 + 1/2 cups icing sugar
🍫6 tbsp cocoa powder
Method-
1. In a bowl, add warm milk. To this add vinegar and coffee powder and whisk well.
2. Add sugar and oil and whisk till everything is well combined.
3. Now add the dry ingredients - flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda and whisk to form a smooth cake batter.
4. Pour the batter in two 6inch round tin and bake for 25-30 mins or till a skewer inserted comes out clean.
6. Meanwhile, make the chocolate buttercream by beating the butter till light n fluffy.
7. Add in the sifted icing sugar and cocoa powder and mix everything together.
8. Let the cake layers cool completely and frost them with chocolate buttercream.
