Lahori Fish Fry Ingredients @DastarKhawanCooking
Fish 2 kg, King or Salmon
Tamarind (Imli) 50 Gm
Water 1 Cup
Lemon juice 2 Tbsp
Gram Flour (Besan) ½ Cup
Salt to taste
Red Chilli powder 1 Tbsp
Coriander powder 2 Tbsp
Cumin powder 1 Tbsp
Chilli Flakes 1 Tbsp
Garam Masala 1 Tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 2 Tbsp
Carom seeds 1 Tsp
Oil for frying
Method:
Soak tamarind (imli) with water for ½ an hour.
When imli pulp is ready strain and add this in fish.
Now add Lemon Juice , Ginger Garlic Paste,Carom Seeds, Salt , Crushed Coriander, Cumin Powder, Red Chilli , Chilli Flakes, garam Masala Powder and Gram Flour (Besan).
Mix all the spices with fish and marinate it for 6-8 hours.
After 8 hours fry the fish in hot oil.
