How Enlightenment Improve Relationship?

Seeker Question: Sri Bhagavan, What is the importance of Enlightenment?
Sri Bhagavan:
See basically we could classify the human being into four levels.
One is the Vasanas coming from past lives.
The other is the four baskets what happened in the womb.
And then the third is the FCDs, is the fundamental childhood decisions.
And the fourth is conditioning. You’re conditioned as an Indian, as a Hindu or this cast or that cast or that I'm a doctor or an engineer or this or that. And the beliefs that have been put into you by your parents, by your school, by society, all that is part of your conditioning.
So you could be divided into these four classes.
So relationship is affected either by the Vasanas or the baskets or the FCDs or by your conditioning. To some extent, we can set these things right. And relationship would definitely improve.
But still it would never be what it should be. That could happen only when the person is gone. If you and your wife are there, you are a person, you feel that you are there, that must go. The same thing must happen to your wife.
When that happens, you'll realize the ultimate relationship. You'll realize the complete Joy of relationship between a father and a son, a husband and a wife, so whatever relationship there is.
But as long as you are there, as a person, there would always be conflict. Temporarily it will be fine for a few days or a few weeks or a few months, quickly the images would form, they would start relating and again the whole trouble would start. But by clearing up these things, things could improve, that's all. But no dramatic thing is going to happen where you discover tremendous Joy.
For that to happen, you have got to become enlightened, which means you must go. When you are not there, what is there is Joy Joy and Joy. So you are a bundle of Joy, your wife is a bundle of Joy, so these two bundles of Joy are relating. There only be Joy out of that.
Otherwise you are suffering, she is suffering, and both of you interact, you produce only suffering.
That is why try as you might, in marital life you could adjust, make compromises, somehow manage, that's what people are doing. You can go to a psychologist, a psychotherapist, now you could come to us, we will do some things and things would improve, but you would die without having really seen what it is to relate.
That is why you have got to become Enlightened.
