Catch Twan Wildeboer if you can! Often spotted running around the UTwente campus, Twan is not just swift on his feet but also swift with his ideas.
As an Industrial Design Engineering master student, he excels in problem-solving and making ideas into reality. He also enjoys helping others to bring their ideas to life, which he has done both by teaching design courses about Responsible Future Design at the IDE MSc program, as well as with assisting with physical prototyping, which he still loves to do every week as part of the Techteam at DesignLab.
Eager to embrace new technologies for the field of design, Twan has expanded his design research to include empowering people with Al tools. In his quest, he has discovered ways to exploit biases in Al tools like Chatgpt, creating custom tools that today already have the potential to improve everyday life. Join him as he unveils these exciting applications at his upcoming talk! Enthusiastic & ambitious Industrial Design Engineer eager to leave positive impact!
Creative as a Designer, a problem-solver as an Engineer, curious as a Scientist, insightful as a Philosopher and crafty as a Maker. That's me. I like solving complex challenges. I am a real team player, and I come up with out-of-the-box solutions because I do not think inside-the-box.
Specialized as a process-oriented designer to keep overview on the bigger picture in development processes, with a side specialization in the conceptual design phase.
My interests and skills are especially within Design Processes, Sustainability, stimulating creativity through design, Interaction Design, Futuring Methodology, Human-Product Relations, Life Cycle Analysis and Impact Assessment Method development.
