just in time to cool off— mango sago, a light + refreshing dessert perfect for this heat wave 🥵 all you need are 5 ingredients + 15 minutes!
ɪɴɢʀᴇᴅɪᴇɴᴛꜱ:
• 4-5 mangoes — refrigerated ideal here!
• coconut milk
• honey
• grapefruit or pomelo
• sago pearls
ʀᴇᴄɪᴘᴇ:
• cut + peel mangoes, cube one of the mangoes. the rest can be added to a blender
• add 1/2 can coconut milk into the blender, if serving immediately blend with ice.
• add honey to taste + blend until a creamy purée
• cook sago pearls per package directions
• mix in sago pearls with remainder of coconut milk
• use a fork to remove grapefruit flesh
• pour mango purée into a bowl or glass with coconut sago, top with grapefruit, mango chunks + enjoy!
➢ if not serving immediately, you can blend without ice + chill in the fridge for two hours before serving.
