Mango pickle Recipe|Telangana style mango pickle|Aam ka achar|Avakaya pachadi
Ingredients:
Raw mango pieces 4 cups (around 600 grams)
sesame oil 1 1/2 cup (375 ml)
Mustard seeds( Rai) 1 1/2 tsp (for tempering)
Cumin seeds (jeera) 1 1/2 tsp(for tempering)
Fenugreek seeds (Methi seeds) 1/2 tp (for tempering)
Ginger garlic paste 1/2 cup (preferably freshly made)
Mustard seeds 2 tbsp (dry roast)
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp (dry roast)
Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tbsp (dry roast)
Red chili powder 1 cup
Salt 3/4 cup (preferably rock salt /kosher salt, do not use iodized salt)
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Asafoetida 1 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder 1/4 cup (optional)
Garlic cloves 15-20 count
