Thu, Jun 16: Aron Ralston knows the true meaning of the word survival. In 2003, he hiked alone into a remote area of Utah’s canyon country and what happened next is still difficult to imagine. Seven miles into the canyon that day, Aron dislodged a 800-pound boulder that crushed and pinned his right hand. After 127 hours, he amputated his own right forearm with a dull pocketknife in order to free himself and eventually hike to a miraculous rescue. Susan Hay has his story.
