Today the Gibson Guitar Company announced the release of the Jimmy Page 1969 EDS-1275 double neck collectors edition SG model guitar. This guitar was built from 3D scans of Jimmy's original guitar from 1969 and is being called "forensically accurate". Only 50 of these guitars are being made and they come at a price tag steeper than the Stairway to Heaven. They are listed at $49,999! That's $3,000 more than the average price of a new car in the US! It's a good thing they come with a case, because that's where these guitars will probably be spending most of their lives, only being brought out during fancy dinner parties to impress your friends!
