Seen here is some World Trade Center/Chambers Street action with some reroutes D, F, and M trains.
Due to an incident in Brooklyn and on 6th Avenue, a real big chaos causing D, F, and M trains to be rerouted over 8th Avenue.
D trains ran via the A line to Jay Street-Metrotech, then via the F line to Coney Island due to a shooting incident at 36 Street, which caused suspension in that area due to police presence needed at the 36 Street Station.
F trains ran via the E line, then via the A line to Jay Street-Metrotech, then resumed service to Coney Island.
M train service was cut into two sections:
1. Forest Hills to/from World Trade Center via the E line.
2. Metropolitan Avenue to/from Chambers Street, via the J line.
This was a real mass transit failure due to the incident caused over in south Brooklyn, but rarely since they had M trains rerouted over the E line to World Trade Center, and D and F trains over 8th Avenue, even if it’s not a General Order.
Please Note: subway service is fully 24/7 again, but doesn’t mean you should take off your mask when riding public transportation. Always wear a mask when riding the subway or buses, be at least 6 feet from others around you, and in case you need to adjust your mask, wear gloves when adjusting. Enjoy!
