The town of Doi Mae Salong is perched on top of a mountain ridge in the North of Thailand near the Myanmar border. Whilst the surrounding villages are mainly made up of Hill Tribes, DMS is almost entirely Chinese. The language, architecture, food and traditions all come from mainland China.
