5 mistakes killing your Instagram growth.

1. Not using keywords in Captions❌

The Instagram algorithm has changed a lot & the algorithm can detect keywords in your caption.

It no longer depends only on hashtags.

Captions are very powerful for making the algorithm recognise your content & Showing it to relevant people. 🚀

Most People only use keywords in hashtags. 

But if you want to grow on Instagram include them in captions to increase the reach.


2. Repurposing from other platforms❌

Repurposing content across different platforms is great

but if you are directly uploading on Instagram by downloading it from other platforms or directly uploading content with watermarks, 😐

It will kill your  Instagram reach.


3. Follow for Follow🤦‍♀️

Follow for follow may look like an easy way to gain followers,

but it actually hurts your Instagram growth in the long run.

The followers you gained from follow for follow will mostly have no interest in what you are posting & won't engage.❌

It will lead to overall less engagement rates & kill your instagram reach in the long run !!

4. Not being consistent🙅‍♀️

Not being consistent will give a major setback to your Instagram growth.

Personally, my Instagram account also suffered because of my inconsistency.

If you are not showing up consistently, more & more people will forget you & probably won't engage with your content.

This in turn leads to your content being pushed to fewer & fewer people.😐

And in my personal observation also Instagram pushes your content to a wider audience when you are consistent on the platform.

So be consistent & show up consistently to grow on Instagram.🚀🚀


5. Deleting Old reels❌

Instagram is all about recency. So people used to delete their old reels which are not performing well.

But hold on! lately Instagram is resurfacing & pushing the content from weeks ago.🤔

Personally, I have also observed this trend on the accounts I manage.

So don't delete your non-performing reels.😊
