Welcome to the So Nice Summer Samba Guitar Chords and melody lesson. We also call this the chord melody style when you play the So Nice guitar chords and the melody simultaniously. It may look hard in the beginning, but if you know the basic jazz guitar chords, this should be absolutely doable for you.
This song goes by three names actually. The original brazilian name is Samba de verao. Then there is the english translation Summer Samba and another name So Nice, written by Marcos Valle.

I'll show you everything note for note, slow and easy in my Summer Samba guitar lesson / So Nice guitar lesson. I also did a slow playthrough at the end of the lesson.

You'll learn how to play the Summer Samba Bossa Nova guitar rhythm, as well as the melody weaved in between for a great Summer Samba chord melody guitar instrumental piece. The groove and teh syncopation in the single notes is really what makes this song stick out.

I've made the Summer Samba backing track in two different tempos, so you can play along the slower version first and than get your way up to the regular tempo.
