The level of the Aral sea rose by half a meter. This was reported by the press service of the government of Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan.
Zeynulla Kaztoganov, head of the Arol-Syr Darya basin inspection, reported that the volume of water collected in the North Aral Sea has decreased from 27 billion cubic meters to 18.5 billion cubic meters, and water resources have decreased to 40.42 million cubic meters.
