FedEx used this pop-up cube direct mail design to deliver a special offer. The mailer shipped flat and when the recipient opened the zipper envelope, the cube automatically popped up. The cube was designed to mimic a FedEx package and was a perfect tie-in with the headline on the inside which read "You never know when savings will pop-up”. Whenever you can marry the message with the mechanism, it will always create a more powerful design.
