This is when we came back from Thailand and to my sister's place that's close to Penang. That night, we drove to Penang Island, using the newest bridge that connects this island to mainland Malaysia. I had a preview from what Penang is all about, and my brother in law made a point of showing to me Penang at night.

The island is rich, clean, orderly, well maintained, and actually lived in by many people who are very much like any one of us anywhere in the world, including those who are among the ultra rich, as well as the most poor brethren in our midst. It has that prosperous vibe that's very apparent especially if you're from another prosperous place. And we're not only talking about material prosperity. It just shows that this prosperity really has to be clarified, identified, and worked on together by so many forces to be attained. And Penang is showing just that. Hurrah!
