2 1/2 cups flour
1 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp sugar
water to knead the flour
dry flour (parthan)
1 tsp extra ghee
ghee or oil to fry

1 tbsp corn starch
1 tsp red food colouring
water to wet the cornstarch

20 cloves (2 per pair of sohari and lapsi)
