El Mariachi Tapatio De Tucson perform at the 37th Annual Tucson Folk Festival on April 2, 2022 at the Jácome Plaza Stage.
El Mariachi Tapatio, founded in 1991 by Alberto Ranjel Jr, is dedicated to the highest level of musicianship while balancing their professionalism as educators to communicate their heritage and cultural identity. El Mariachi Tapatio has enjoyed a touring history that spans both oceans and have participated in the Tucson and Las Cruces International Mariachi Conferences as both guest artists and instructors.
The 37th Annual Tucson Folk Festival is Arizona's largest free to the public music festival. This annual family-friendly festival is held in some of the most historic sections of Downtown Tucson and celebrates Americana and Folk Music traditions and all the wonderful variations, including bluegrass, blues, country, jazz, Celtic, zydeco, and various styles of Latin and Mexican music! Presented by the Tucson Kitchen Musicians Association (TKMA) and the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance (SAACA).
