For people who read Jack T chick tracts, or listen to an evangelical sermons, it's pretty well believed that the Catholic Church kept The Bible From everyone.  In other words  the Catholic Church wouldn't allow the average person to own or read the bible for themselves.


 And the reason the Catholic Church did this, it is claimed, is because if people did read The Bible for themselves they would see that we are saved through faith Alone, and that the bible itself is the only authority.


There are no popes, there are no bishops and all of Catholicism is wrong.

they kept The Bible from everyone to keep their power.


 but at the reformation everyone was allowed to read The Bible,  and a whole lot of people left the Catholic Church because they Saw the truth.  And the only reason anyone's Catholic now is because the Catholic Church continues to keep The Bible from its people.


but is this true? No!
