The Great Migration of the vast herd of wildebeest, zebras and Thomson's gazelles from the Serengeti (Tanzania) to the Masai Mara (Kenya), stretches over a distance of 800 kilometers, and is the most extensive mammal migration observed on the planet (more than 2 million animals). Animal migration occurs annually in search of rain, when the plains of the Masai Mara begin to turn green. One of the most dangerous and amazing moments is Mara river crossing.
