The Sacré-cœur (Sacred Heart) is a 19th century Catholic church located on top of the Montmartre hill, making it the second highest point in the city.
It houses the "Savoyarde", one of the largest and heaviest bells in the world, it weighs about 19 tonnes.
One of the most awe-inspiring things about this church is its whitest. The exterior is made of a "self-cleaning" stone which is known to have a high level of calcite. This is how the cathedral preserves its white appearance and is also known as the white church!
