KeepVibesNear aka KVN collaborates with one of UK's most in demand Hip-Hop duos and Garage heavy hitters, Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn on his first release of the year, ‘Late Night Drive’. First up in a double-sided single for KVN, the song showcases his seductive tone and soulful melodies and skillfully bottles up Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn’s experimental flow. “As soon as KVN played me the early stages of the song I knew that I wanted to be a part of it, it’s the perfect track to take the car out for a spin late at night” Frankie says. With Harvey Whyte and Harvey Gunn on production duties, ‘Late Night Drive’ is an ode to lovers and the hypnotic piano trails across speaker channels like lights on a highway.

When speaking about the track KeepVibesNear said: “This song for me was a feeling, I think of this as a story like a tale. It’s one of those songs that stuck out as special as soon as I had the idea. Late-night drive with bae just hits the imagery perfectly really and I think when everyone hears this song it will just make you wanna go for a little cruise.”

Raised in Romford with family ties in Nigeria, KVN is hoping his music can change the outdated narrative that men can’t show or feel the vast spectrum of emotions, good, bad and everything in between. In a time when toxic masculinity is still so rife, he intends to make space for men to express themselves, open up and be vulnerable. Citing the likes of Tyler The Creator, Andre 3000 and The Internet as key influences, KVN is the perfect combination of honesty and humour - an artist the UK music scene is truly craving. Bringing that refreshing energy into the new year and reflecting on last year, 2021 highlights for the musician included his ‘Now That We Know.’ EP, receiving ongoing support from the likes of Jamz Supernova, Rinse FM, Worldwide FM and NTS, as well as ending the year selling out his headline show at the Hackney Social Club.

Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn are two halves of a seamless rap and production duo from Brighton. Since their inception in their teenage years, they have honed a signature sound rooted in classic hip-hop, garage and electronic dance music across the board. FS&HG have been self-releasing their uniquely British blend of music for the best part of a decade, amassing over 80 million streams in the process.
