Gosht-Gosht Na Raha: Ingredients & Recipe Below:-
- Marinate 1 kg mutton with 200 grams curd, 1 tbsp each of salt, red chilli powder, roasted-crushed-coriander-seeds, roasted-crushed-cumin-seeds, 1 tsp each of black pepper powder, fennel powder and dry ginger powder. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat 7 tbsp oil in a Kadhai and add in 2 bay leaves, 3 green & 2 black cardamom, 4 cloves, 2.5 inch cinnamon, 1 tsp stone flower, 1 mace and 1 star anise. Let them pop for 30 seconds then add in the marinated mutton. Fry the mutton on high for 22 minutes.
- Boil 5 onions, 4-5 tomatoes, 6-8 Kashmiri red chillies, 15-18 garlic cloves, 15-20 cashew nuts. Remove the skin off the tomatoes then blend all of it into a smooth paste. Add this paste in the Kadhai and fry on medium for 6 minutes.
- Now add in 3 cups of hot water giving it a good mix and close the lid turning flame to low for 60-75 minutes checking and stirring in between. Lastly add in a tsp of garam masala powder and a tbsp of roasted-crushed-kasoori-methi mixing well and garnishing with chopped coriander leaves.
