You guys seem to like the live testing videos so here we are again doing Swords this time! Honestly I was actually quite surprised and wasn’t expecting them to perform as well as they did, especially the new Wave Frame Sword from the Salvation’s Edge raid. The combination of the Expanding Abyss and Argent Blade Artifact perks actually makes Falling Guillotine a very competitive DPS option for bosses that can be sworded like the new Herald of Finality. Other options were shining too like the new Wave Frame Sword putting out very respectable numbers on par with Guillotine without the need for Expanding Abyss, definitely not what I was expecting. The Lament is still very good and Heartshadow also surprised me, since with Expanding Abyss only the Weaken effect gets buffed to 25% up from 15%, which is actually pretty nice since it basically negates the need for a Tractor user, though you do burn through your ammo very fast unfortunately. Compared to other options the raid sword, Lament and Guillotine all out-damage Grenade Launchers and Rockets by about 300-500k damage which is actually pretty nice and I’m glad swords now have a moment to shine, it’s been a while since they were this good.
