Voice artist Deepa Venkat won Best Dubbing artist for her dubbing in Ponniyin Selvan for Aishwarya Rai at JFW Movie Awards 2023. The award was presented by Sreeja Ravi, senior voice actor who dubbed for Shalini, Laila and many other heroines. Deepa Venkant thanked Mani Rathnam and entire crew of Ponniyin Selvan, she also mentioned how Aishwarya Rai learned Tamil. She also recreated Kannathil Muthamittal Simran scene with anchors Archana Chandhoke and RJ Vijay. Krithika Nelson and Deepa Venkat recreated epic face off between Aishwarya Rai and Trisha.
