And so for Mother's Day, I decided that I wanted to do something special this time. It has been so long that I celebrated it and not trying to start a pity party but my mother passed away when I was still "an angsty teenager" hahahaha. So I wanna play this song to just wind down for the day I guess haha.

Aside from that, Earthbound/ Mother 2 is a special game for me. The story is different, the theme and different and the whole vibe and atmosphere is very personal to me. As if the whole journey is one big game of retelling of a young boy growing up to be an adult. No spoilers lol but the whole final fight was creepy.

Earthbound also have really special JRPG standards of playing which is a nice change from the standard format but the whole thing was packaged nicely with their soundtracks. The music was a biiiiigggggg focus point in here so it felt nice and refreshing that the way to save the world is to get a sword or magic or some other hocus pocus.
