It was a historical trip to Warangal which was once the capital of the Kakatiya kingdom. We went to visit the Bhadrakali temple early in the morning to avoid the rush during the later part of the day as it was during unlocking phase 6 in India. Bhadrakali temple is situated by the side of the Bhadrakali lake. This is an artificial lake built by the Kakatiyans. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Bhadrakali the main deity of the Kakatiyans. This temple was looted, plundered, and again rebuilt. The world-famous Kohinoor diamond which is now a part of the British royal crown also has a connection with this temple. Watch this video to know more.
