In this video Flo is guiding you through uddiyana bandha kriya, which is one of the three locks in your body and said to be the pre-nauli kriya. Uddiyana bandha helps regulate the upward energy from mula banda as well as the downward energy from jalandara bandha. Doing this exercise you will likely will cleansed, purified, energizes and focused. Flo practices this every morning as part of his breathwork (pranayama) practice, which is why he says "it is powerful breathwork".
