Dahon Archer P8 folding bike review form Clydesdale Cyclist
[ Ссылка ]
This is my folding bike that I got soon after shifting to Shanghai so I could go exploring. I only had a small apartment so got a easy to store bike to just to short journeys, but I ended up doing rides that were a few hours (including stops) and taking it on the high speed intercity trains to go sight seeing.
Dahon have put a lot of thought into this bike. The frame is very strong (but heavy) cromoly, the welds are beefy, and the locking points at the headset and middle of the frame are really good. An added feature is a tire pump stored in the middle of the REALLY long seat post.
Funny things is that after filming this video and praising how tough the bike has been, I broke a few spokes in the rear wheel. Other than that and adjusting the brakes and oiling the chain from time to time this bike has been excellent.
I highly recommend a good quality folding bike to anybody who wants some extra transportation or exercise, but they live in an apartment and don't have the spare space.
