Welcome to Prog Sabbath! Well maybe not entirely prog but this is as close to prog rock as Sabbath gets, I guess.
I've heard that Sabbath fans really dislike this song. Why? It's a far cry from the gloomy early to mid 70s riffs sure, but musically it's still really good. And the bass is fucking incredible on this. I also find it funny how I'm not a huge fan of this album but it contains both my favorite Sabbath bassline (Junior's Eyes) and the solo in that section beginning at 3:59 is my favorite Sabbath guitar solo. And the section itself is killer! I don't know if there's some weird effect put on Tony's guitar or is that Don Airey playing his ass off during Tony's solo, but either way it sounds great. And btw, Dony Airey is boss! They keyboard on this song is stellar. And with the bass itself, those might be basic scale runs, but they require a lot of stamina. Or not, I don't know. All I know is that they required a lot of stamina from me :D
Also fun fact: with this song done I've now covered at least 2 songs from each Sabbath studio album (and the album they released as Heaven & Hell). Talk about dedication! :D

The song is from Black Sabbath's eighth album - Never Say Die!, released in 1978.
