Despite being one of the last stages in the game, this stage isn't actually that hard. Aside from some bad enemy placement here and there (especially, once again, during the vertical sections), nothing in this stage is particularly hard to deal with it, especially if you use the Stronger Buster upgrade for Bass's buster. After making it through the stage, you'll encounter the boss, Atetemino Proto with his helper Monking A. I'd personally recommend not using his weakness, the Copy Vision. Bass's buster, coupled with the Stronger Buster upgrade, can take care of this boss just fine. Not to mention the fact that you won't waste Copy Vision's weapon energy. Now that the first stage of King Castle has been cleared, we can move on to the second stage, which is considered by many to be one of the hardest levels in the Classic Mega Man series.
