How To Avoid Streamer Burnout With SMART Goals
You’ve probably felt a lot of frustration and burnout in content creation, you’ve compared yourself to others, and you don’t understand why they are doing better. You’ve tried to action the tips you’ve found but it just doesn’t seem to be clicking.
The core way I believe you can avoid burnout is with these smart goals, and by not comparing your success to anybody else's because at the end of the day, someone else succeeding isn’t your failure, and your failure isn’t somebody else's success.
You’ve got your path, Ninja didn’t become the largest streamer overnight, neither did Ludwig or Mizkif or any of these creators who you might look up to.
They did it over years with hard work, good content, and a bit of luck.

Why You Shouldn't Set Twitch affiliate As Your Goal:
Let me get this out of the way, wanting to reach 50 followers or reach 3 viewers isn’t a bad thing to want, but those goals don’t have clear steps to get there and they can’t be achieved by you and you alone, they require other people to be involved, they are the exact opposite of good or SMART Goals.
Followers are random to a degree based on if someone happens to click at the right time, and viewers come down to if your content is good enough to keep people coming back. Sure, making good content and playing the right games/categories can take a lot of the random aspects away BUT there is a much better way to set goals that will help you achieve 50 followers or 3 viewers much faster without also burning yourself out and giving up.
The style of this video is similar to Alpha Gaming and Gaming Careers in parts. A large influence on this series has come from content creators like Wild4games and Nutty.
