Bret Staymates has been writing original music since his sophmore year of high school. Shortly there after he began writing and performing his own songs. 11 Years later he combines a raspy blues voice with a modern blues style creating a "blues packing heat" sound.

Here Bret performs his original song "Troubled Times" at the FREEstate Workshop for your enjoyment. Get into it.
