Notes:

Meditation is not just studying or thinking

2 Goals:

Goal 1 - Through Meditation truths become deeper and to apply them to ourselves for self-improvement, inform and transform us

Goal 2: - to love the truth not just know it. Love the God of truth whom you know.

Resolutions are not necessary but very helpful, should be specific, helps us to transform, for the student to become like the teacher

If you are serious then meditation should be done every day for at least 15 minutes, better 30 minutes

Best way to get rid of habitual sin

Good actions need to be grounded in a good prayer life or there will be no sanctity

Different methods, St. Ignatius, St Peter of Alcantara

The simplest is to read a good book like scripture and reflect then converse then resolve

Read, Reflect, Converse, Resolve ... rinse and repeat :)
