In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how-to set canonical URLs for duplicate content in HubSpot.

If you are hosting duplicate content in multiple pages of your website, setting a canonical URL will tell search engines which content contains the preferred version.

Steps to follow:

Step 1. Navigate to your content. It can be a website page, landing page, or blog post.

Step 2. Here, we are taking an example from one of our existing landing pages.

Step 3. In your HubSpot account, navigate to marketing in the dropdown menu and click landing page.

Step 4. Hover over an existing page and click Edit.
Navigate to the Settings tab. Then click Advanced Options.

Step 5. Enter a canonical URL for the page or post's content in the Canonical URL section. This is the URL search engines will prioritize when displaying search results relevant to this content.

Step 6. In the top right, click Publish.

That’s how you can set canonical URLs for duplicate content in HubSpot.
