Metro Manila is such a nightmare to navigate, not only because traffic is so bad, but the layout of the metropolis does not have a singular, unified idea. To solve the traffic problem requires out-of-the-box thinking; so I'm very surprised why the Pasig River Ferry isn't more popular than it should be. To make things worse, it isn't a government priority, so it has seen better days. In this video, I show you how the service looks like now (at least, as from February 2020), and how it looked like through the years, beginning in 2008 when I first took it, and then in 2015 when it looked starkly different (and ugly). They are trying to revive the service (although I can imagine COVID-19 is going to severely delay it), so hopefully we can look forward to having 2008 (or better) back, and revive the ferry as an alternative to Metro Manila's crippling traffic.
Speaking of traffic solutions, you'll see in this video many of the things that's built along the river, as well as over it such as bridges and the ongoing Skyway Stage 3 which looks quite impressive.
