The network administrator has two options to manage the device.
1-Locally (with Console)
2-Remotely (to configure Telnet)
If your network has more then 200 Devices it is not possible network administrator to manage the Network locally.
The best practice is to administrate the network remotely.
For this purpose Tools and protocols are available in the market.
In today's video, I will discuss one of the protocols to manage the network devices Remotely.
Telnet is developed is 1969 that provides a command-line interface to manage the devices remotely.
Telnet is less secure because there is no encryption of Data.
In our today's video, we are performing how to configure telnet on Cisco Switch to manage it Remotely. This topic is part of CCNA 200-301 Content.
