A common mistake I see Golfers making is taking away the club incorrectly. A strong clubface often hits the ball left. If you’re right-handed golfer and an open club face will hit the ball to the right if you’re right Handed Golfer. If you can move the club to the top of the backswing in a neutral position it makes everything so much easier. Try this drill hold the club as lightly as possible so that it’s just resting in your fingers and turn your body to hip height before you involve the wrists rather than closing the club face or opening the club face too much with your forearms and wrists. It makes a massive difference to the initial direction of golf shots and enables you to hit drawers and feeds so much easier.
