As intimidating as this structure appears, the resident who lives inside isn't as tough as its exterior. Wumpus acts like they're manning the fort, when in reality it's the castle getting the job done. Fort Wumpus serves to protect Wumpus with all its might, as the huggable celebrity is vulnerable standing out in the open. Not to say that Wumpus can't enjoy company, as a simple introduction will allow Wumpus to decide if you're free to enter his domain. Let the red flag be a warning to you however, if you see it waving, take a step back. You don't want a barrage of arrows or a large door to repel you, trust me.
