Urethral Stricture -- Buccal Mucosal Graft Process.
Disease that affects the urethra: passage through which urine is voided from bladder.
Symptoms of Stricture:
Narrow streams of urine, Straining to pass, Taking long time to empty the bladder, Sense of incomplete evacuation, Painful intercourse, Hesitancy, Painful urination.
Diseased section is needed to be replaced by a graft, from inside of the cheek which grows back in 2-3 weeks. The absorbable suture material is used to close the wound which dissolves in 2-3 weeks.
