You see the online reports of water-logged displays and water damage to ebikes often enough to know that damage does occur despite the claims that ebikes are waterproof. They aren't, at least not as well as we all would like. So a little bit of preparation can prevent a whole lot of pain. These are the steps I take to keep water out of the key areas. Press 'n Seal is the least I do, along with using a Ziploc over the display. As the rain increases, so I add the extra layers. YMMV.
